Abstract

Abstract The protection influence of 8-hydroxy-7-quinolinecarboxaldehyde derivatives against C- steel corrosion was studied in 2 M {HCl} solutions at 30oC. Measurements were conducted under various experimental conditions using weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and electrochemical frequency modulation (EFM) techniques.
