Abstract
In the present study the microbiologically influenced (MIC) corrosion behavior and its effects on the mechanical properties of Al-Cu alloy in the presence/absence of bacillus megaterium bacteria is investigated. The charge transfer resistance (Rct) is small in bacterial medium as compared to control medium. Microstructure analysis indicates corrosion in the form of pits on the surface of specimens treated with control medium and bacterial solution. The corrosion damage on specimens caused by bacteria is more vigorous as compared to control medium and increases with increasing the exposure time. Tensile tests of the specimens indicate that the yield stress, ultimate tensile strength and percentage elongation decrease with increasing the time of exposure both in the control system and in the presence of bacterial culture.
Microsoft is Ending Support for Windows 7
Microsoft will discontinue support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020 which means Gamry will also be discontinuing support for Windows 7. If you are upgrading to Windows 10, like many companies and institutions, you need to be running Version 7 of our s oftware .
