Abstract
Aqueous infiltration methods were used to produce a ceramic composite of 20-vol% La0.7Sr0.3VO3-δ (LSV), 2.1-vol% CeO2, and 0.3-vol% Pd in a porous Ce0.85Sm0.15O2-δ (SDC) scaffold for potential application as Ni-free low-temperature solid-oxide-fuel-cell (SOFC) anodes. At 873 K, cells with mentioned anode composition and La0.8Sr0.2CoO3-δ (LSC) cathodes demonstrated total electrode polarization resistances of 0.3 Ω cm2 and 0.6 Ω cm2 in humidified (3% H2O) H2 and CH4, respectively. Improved anode performance was also achieved by modifying the surface of the porous SDC scaffold through etching with an aqueous HF solution, decreasing the total cell polarization resistances to 0.1 Ω cm2 and 0.4 Ω cm2 at 873 K in humidified H2 and CH4, respectively. The anodes based on LSV-SDC composites exhibited stable performance for at least 40 h under load.
Microsoft is Ending Support for Windows 7
Microsoft will discontinue support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020 which means Gamry will also be discontinuing support for Windows 7. If you are upgrading to Windows 10, like many companies and institutions, you need to be running Version 7 of our s oftware . Please note that only USB and Ethernet-based instruments can run in Version 7. Eligible users can download the latest version of our software through our online Client Portal .
If you haven't already registered your instrument, you can do so through the Client Portal .
Please email Technical Support if you have any questions regarding this transition. Please be sure to include your instrument model and serial number when contacting us.
