Abstract
The electronic properties of semiconducting electrocatalysts are of fundamental research interest and of great importance for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) from water splitting. Engineering the band levels is a promising route to design and fabricate nonprecious earth-abundant semiconducting electrocatalysts for OER.
