Abstract

Effective surface passive cooling and superhydrophobicity is vital for promoting more flexible application of energy power system for aircraft and aerospace. Here, we experimentally demonstrate a fractal-patterned coating on TA15 titanium alloy for superhydrophobic and passive cooling performance through plasma electrolytic oxidation and hydrothermal treatment successively.
